29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person:  Job Site: 14 Swope Park Ct., Wentzville, MO.  On or about 05/19/2022, Guaranteed Roofing & Contracting did not conduct an adequate inspection of the job site, materials, and equipment.  Employees were exposed to the following hazards:  a) The roofing subcontractors were actively installing new roofing shingles on a residential building over 18 feet off the ground. The crew did not have any form of fall protection, while operating a pneumatic nail gun without eye of face protection. b) The aluminum extension ladder (no markings) did not have side rails extending 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. c) The General Contractor controlling the work was onsite dropping off supplies during the time of the inspection.
