29 CFR  1910.36(e)(2): The door(s)  that connects any room to an exit route did not swing out in the direction of exit travel when  the room was designed to be occupied by more than 50 people or  when the room was a high hazard area.  (a) On or about June 1, 2022, at or near 1910 50th Street West Suite H Williston, ND, where employees who were working in high hazard areas, containing flammable liquids and gases, the exit doors did not swing out in the direction of exit travel.  SGS North America was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(e)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1387830, citation number 1, item number 1 group A and was affirmed as a final order on October 4, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 301 Second Street West in Williston, ND.

No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route:  (a) On or about June 1, 2022, at or near 1910 50th Street West Suite H Williston, ND, exit routes located on the west side of the building towards the back of the lab were obstructed by temporary material within the exit route preventing employees from safely exiting the building in the event of an emergency.

The fire extinguisher  located in a Conex box was not mounted and access was blocked making the fire extinguisher not readily accessible.

29 CFR  1910.176(c): Housekeeping. Where storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constitute hazards from tripping, fire, explosion, or pest harborage. Vegetation control will be exercised when necessary.   (a) On or about June 1, 2022, and at times prior, at or near 1910 50th Street West Suite H Williston, ND, where employees were exposed potential fire hazards due to the accumulation of flammable and combustible waste materials, including but not limited to;  sample bottles containing oil field samples (crude oil) that were being stored in cardboard/corrugated boxes, and bottles that contained chemicals such as H2S, located in the storage retention container/Conex box.
