1926.502(h)(1)  The employer did not did not designate a competent person to monitor the safety of other employees and/or did not ensure that the safety monitor complied with the requirements listed in (h)(1)(i) through (h)(1)(v) of this section: 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system:  (a) 150 Lancaster Pike Ford Dealer - Employees were on a low slope roof 22 feet high performing  roofing work without any means of fall protection, on or about July 12, 2022.  Shea Roofing was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1330409, citation number 1, item number2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2735 Luther Drive Chambersburg, PA 17202.   No abatement certification or documentation required.
