29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  a. LR Contracting Inc. at 11839-11843 Ridge Pkwy, Broomfield, CO 80021: On July 11, 2022, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees of Building Solutions LLC, subcontractor, were protected from injury, in that employees were observed conducting roofing operations at heights over 25 feet on a multi-residential building without the use of fall protection.  The employees were exposed to fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   a. LR Contracting Inc. at 11839-11843 Ridge Pkwy, Broomfield, CO 80021: On July 11, 2022, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees of Building Solutions LLC, subcontractor, were protected from injury, in that portable ladders, used to access the roof of a multi-residential building, had side rails that did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing or was secured. The employer did not protect employees against falls at heights over 25 feet. This condition exposes to employees to fall hazards.
