29 CFR  1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section:  On or about September 8, 2022 at Chantilly Ln. North Aurora, IL employees working in a trench measuring greater than 6 feet in depth were exposed to cave-in hazards likely to result in serious injury when the employer failed to ensure cave-in protection was utilized.  Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
