Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each employee a place of employment which was free from a recognized crushed-by hazard that was causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  (a) On or about October 5, 2022, employees were not protected from a crushed-by hazard in that 3 of 4 vacuum lifting devices were not marked with the weight of the device and other required information so employees were unable to determine if the loads being lifted were within the limits of all the lifting components.

29 CFR 1910.179(n)(1): Crane(s) were loaded beyond the rated load (maximum load for which the crane or individual hoist was designed and built by the manufacturer and shown on the equipment nameplate(s):  On or about October 5, 2022; at least two overhead cranes were being overloaded exposing employees to crushed-by hazards in that: 	(a) A crane marked 007-A with a load capacity of 1,000 pounds was being used to lift loads of 1,173 pounds or more in the BACA Robotic Saw area.  	(b) A crane marked 001-A with a load capacity of 1,000 pounds was being used to lift loads of 1,135 pounds plus the weight of the clamp below the hook device in the photo area.
