29 CFR 1910.179(l)(3)(i): Unsafe condition(s) disclosed during the frequent or periodic inspection(s) required by 29 CFR 1910.179(j) were not corrected before operation of the crane(s) was resumed:  Location:  Site. On or about January 9, 2023, multiple  cranes had unsafe conditions identified during inspections.  The cranes continued to be operated before being fixed.  Crane issues observed include:  a.  Crane 5 - Single girder EOT - 1 trolley wire rope hoist, stahl, SER 5309994, MOD, AS 3012-21 4/1 -  The gear case was leaking oil and the bushings were worn.  b.  Crane 11 - Single girder EOT - 1 trolley wire rope hoist Stahl 10,000 Kg (11 Tons) s/n- 3224484 model- SH 5025-20 4/1 L2 - The gear case was leaking oil. c.  Jib 1 - Wall jib crane - electric chain hoist, ser L3673VM, Mod F, CM - The pendant cable was improperly supported.

On or about January 9, 2023, numerous cranes were being operated with hooks showing defects.  Examples include: a.  Hoisting machinery A Budgit 500 kg (1100lbs) s/n - AM2483WZ model- BAHC5045 AM2483WZ, BUDGIT, BAHC5045 - The hook did not swivel and was coated with material. b.  Hoisting machinery B Budgit 500 kg (1100 lbs) s/n- AH2478WZ model- BAHC5045 AH2478WZ, BUDGIT, BAHC5045 - The hook swiveled poorly and was coated with material. c.  Hoisting machinery C- Budgit 500 kg (1100 lbs) s/n- AH2484WZ model- BAHC5045 AH2484WZ, BUDGIT, BAHC5045 - The hook swiveled poorly and was coated with material. d. Site - Sufficient access to the electric disconnect labeled "Robot Fed from H3 Ckt 19, 21, 23" was blocked by equipment, piping, and support structure associated with a robotic welder. b. Site - Sufficient access to the electric disconnect labeled "Fed from H1  7, 9, 11 Hydraulic Unit" was blocked by a 55 gallon drum and hoses attached to the hydraulic unit. c. Site - Sufficient access to the electric disconnect labeled "Robot Fed from H3 Ckt 13, 15, 17" was blocked by a chair, a set of shelves storing product and other product (steel ladder). d. Site - Sufficient access to the electric disconnect labeled "Robot Fed from H3 Ckt 25, 27, 29" was blocked by a chair, a set of shelves storing product and other product (steel ladder).
