29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1)(i):  If hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment:   On or about February 9, 2023, at a workplace located at 700 Industrial Street in Gresham, WI; the employer did not have each affected employee use the types of PPE that will protect them from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment. The employer's Employee Handbook required employees to wear safety glasses. Employees were exposed to flying particulate, dust, alcohol, and adhesives while working in the production area of the facility. The employer made safety glasses and hand protection (nitrile gloves) available to employees; however, the employer did not enforce their use to protect employees from eye injury, eye irritation, or skin irritation.
