29 CFR 1926.304(d):Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) New single-family residential construction located at Lot 139 Union Grove Subdivision Braselton, GA 30517 Ground Area: On or about 03/01/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards while operating a Makita (Model 5007F) circular saw, in that the lower guard did not retract immediately after a cut was made as a chock was used to keep the lower guard in the open position.
