Newark, NJ 07105 a) The employer did not train employees required to wear respirators such as, but not limited to, N95 and Half Mask negative pressure respirators. An employee conducting demolition and grinding activities on the exterior of the building was exposed to 10.7 milligrams per cubic meter which exceeds the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 5 milligrams per cubic meter. The employee was sampled for 150 minutes. Zero exposure is assumed for the remaining 330 minutes. Violation occurred on or around March 20, 2023.
