29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) Cherry Hill High School West, 2101 Chapel Ave., Cherry Hill: Three employees were observed working from unprotected side/edge without the use of personal fall protection. The employees were at a height of approximately thirteen to fourteen feet.  Observed on or about 08/22/2023  b) Cherry Hill High School West, 2101 Chapel Ave., Cherry Hill: An employee was observed working on an unprotected side/edge. Employee was working with another individual who was located in a scissor lift  next to his position. The employee was at a height of approximately thirteen to fourteen feet.  Observed on or about 08/22/2023  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
