29 CFR 1926.25(a):During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, form and scrap lumber with protruding nails, and all other debris, shall be kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures. a). 9002 Kaddie way, Columbus GA 31904, New construction home: On or about 3/31/2023, and times prior, employees working around debris in the construction area. Employer failed to ensure that all waste materials are gathered and disposed of throughout the day, exposing his employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a.) Second Story Top Plates: On or about March 31, 2023 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that employees were wearing fall protection while performing framing activities on a residential home at heights of 19 feet 3 inches form the top plate to the ground when conducting framing activities on the second story.
