29 CFR 1910.36(f)(2): The capacity of an exit route was reduced in the direction of exit route travel to the exit discharge. a. At the northwest corner of the warehouse, located at 6438 South Tex Point, Homosassa, FL: On or about May 02, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fire and entrapment hazard, in that, machinery was located within the exit route , which in turn blocked/decreased the capacity of the exit route to approximately 18 inches wide.

At the southeast corner of the warehouse, located at 6438 South Tex Point, Homosassa, FL: On or about May 02, 2023, the employees exposed employees to fire and entrapment hazards, in that, electrical power cables were routed across the exit route.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service: a. On or about May 02, 2023, at the facility in Homosassa, Florida, an employee was using a flexible electrical cord/an extension cord, to power hand tools, such as a portable angle grinder, during which time the outer jacket/insulation was pulled away from the plug strain relief and the ground wire/green wire had a small cut/damage to the insulation; therefore exposing the employees to an electrocution hazard.
