29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed.  On or about: June 26, 2023 Location: 840 Garrison Ave., Bronx, NY 10474  a) Observed one blocked fire exit door on the west side of the building. The door had boxes and ladders blocking access to the door in the event of a fire. The door itself had a bar laying horizontally across the door to prevent it from being opened from the outside which would need to be removed if the door needed to be used. The deadbolt lock and doorknob lock were engaged with the horizontal bar. Workers exposed to fire hazard.

Employees exposed to flying abrasive particles and ground material.

Or or about: June 26, 2023 Location: 840 Garrison Ave., Bronx, NY 10474  a) Observed one bench wheel grinder with the tongue guard appearing to be greater than one quarter of an inch away from the wheel. Employees exposed to flying abrasive particles and projectiles should the wheel shatter.
