Every enclosed workplace shall be so constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin.  A continuing and effective extermination program shall be instituted where their presence is detected:  Employees engaged in warehouse and product distribution activities at Maverick Distribution, LLC located at 6210 Abbott Drive, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to health hazards in that the employer failed to control the presence of insects near or around consumable products and articles adjacent to the battery charger on the receiving dock.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets.   Employees engaged in warehousing and delivery activities at Maverick Distribution, LLC located at 6210 Abbott Drive, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to chemical hazards in that they were not properly trained to protect themselves in the event if a spill or a leak from hazardous chemicals received and stored in and/or distributed from the workplace.  Examples include, but are not limited to, antifreeze, brake fluid, starter fluid, and butane.
