29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: (a)McKie Ford Lincoln, Inc. at 350 Lacrosse Street Rapid City, SD 57701: On or about and at times prior to August 7, 2023, the employer did not ensure proper storage of respirators, in that a 3M Versaflo TR-801N individual respirator was stored hanging on the side of a toolbox within the maintenance area. This condition exposed employees to health hazards due to respirator damage, deformation, and contamination.
