29 CFR 1910.134(i)(6): For compressors that are not oil-lubricated, the employer did not ensure that carbon monoxide levels in the breathing air did not exceed 10 ppm: Building 3 Ford Island/Painter/Sandblaster Shop: Employees used a non-oil lubricated air compressor with an airline that was hooked up to their supplied air respirators. There was no carbon monoxide sensor between the hose and the compressor to ensure the carbon monoxide levels in the breathing air does not exceed 10ppm. Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards.
