OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by an unsecured compressor blow-down pipe: On or about August 29, 2023, and at times prior thereto, an employee operating an oil and gas compressor was exposed to a struck-by hazard from the blow-down pipe during the blow-down process.

29 CFR 1910.151(b): There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid. On or about August 29, 2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were operating and trouble-shooting compressor machines at remote oil and gas sites in which a first-aid trained person was not readily available, exposing the workers to the hazard of delayed immediate life support services being administered.
