29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level:  a) Worksite was located at 119 Ludlow Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762  A worker was exposed to fall hazards of approximately seventeen feet to ground while doing trim work on a two story residence undergoing renovations from a pump jack scaffold with no fall protection.  Violation was observed on or about October 4, 2023.

29 CFR  1926.454(a)(3):The employer did not train each employee who performs work on a scaffold, by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards, including the proper use of the scaffold and the proper handling of materials on the scaffold:  a) Worksite was located at 119 Ludlow Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762  A worker who was working from a pump jack scaffold while doing trim and roofing work with no fall protection was not properly trained to be working on the scaffold. The worker was not aware of the fall protection requirements for scaffolding.   Violation was observed on or about October 4, 2023.
