29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii): The employer did not assure that each employee, as necessary, had been trained by a competent person in the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used.  On or about 11/7/2023, at Merrick Square Bldg. 7, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33021, the employer did not train employees on the correct procedures to follow when using a personal fall arrest system (PFAS) in which the lanyard was insufficient in length and did not permit employees to reach all areas during painting operations without disconnecting from the anchor point, thus exposing employees to a 22-foot fall hazard.
