29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.   a) 91 Highwood Road, Mahwah NJ: Employees engaged in framing /carpentry activities on a 6 on 12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12, 15 & 18 feet on differing pitches to the ground below as a means of fall protection was not being utilized. Condition observed on or about 12/01/2023.  Groesbeck & Groesbeck Home Improvement LLC was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1608126, Citation # 1, Item # 2, issued on 10/26/2022 with respect to a workplace located at 454 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge NJ 07661. This citation became a final order on 11/12/2022.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) 91 Highwood Road, Mahwah NJ: Employees engaged in framing /carpentry activities on a 6 on 12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12, 15 & 18 feet on differing pitches to the ground below as a means of fall protection was not being utilized.
