The employer had fall protection in their work truck but did not think it was necessary for the job due to the low slope of the roof. Excel Roofing, Inc. does not train their project managers that they have to wear fall protection while inspecting the residential roof that subcontractors are actively working on. This lack of training for project managers caused an employee hospitalization on September 25, 2023.
