29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Steep roofs. Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 4, 2024, employees of L&G Green Powerhouse Builders LLC were installing polycarbonate sheets on to a roof of a commercial building at 1889 Wentzville Parkway in Wentzville, Missouri. The employer did not ensure employees utilized fall protection while working at heights of 22 feet above the lower level. The employee was exposed to fall hazards to the concrete floor below.
