29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: a) On or about 1/24/2024 at a construction project located at 7000 Route 16, Franklinville, New York; on the first floor, in the filtration room, an extension cord used for portable power tools had a damaged outer jacket with a repair that did not meet the properties of the outer jacket. b) On or about 1/24/2024 at a construction project located at 7000 Route 16, Franklinville, New York; on the first floor, in the filtration room, extension cords used for portable power tools were tied together causing strain between the outer jacket and cord end. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
