OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1)  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards while using an improperly installed restraint system:  a)  On or about February 2, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing solar panels on the roof of an existing residential home were not provided with a fall restraint system that was capable of protecting employees from fall hazards of up to 18.2 feet on a roof with a 6:12 pitch.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
