29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). On March 28, 2024, and at times prior thereto, where sub-contractor employees/workers were employed in the performance of the contract were allowed to work in surroundings or under working conditions which were unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to their health or safety. The workers were exposed to in plain view hazards such as but not limited to, falls greater than six (6) feet and not wearing eye or head protection at the following job sites: a) at a residential home located at 7411 Fiore, FORT WORTH, TX 76132, eight (8) framing contractor employees without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards greater than nineteen (19') feet to the ground below. No hard hats or safety glasses were worn or used exposing them to struck-by hazards and eye -injuries. b) at a residential home located at 7422 Parco, FORT WORTH, TX 76132, four (4) framing contractor employees without fall protection were exposed to fall hazards greater than twenty (20') feet to the ground below. No hard hats or safety glasses were worn or used exposing them to struck-by hazards and eye-injuries.
