29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) On or about May 7, 2024, at the jobsite, the employer's ladder was only extended approximately 2 feet past the roof landing, while being used  to gain access to a roof 20'6" high, with a pitch of 5/12, to install decking, exposing employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about May 7, 2024, at the jobsite, the employer did not enforce the use of fall protection, while employees installed decking on a 20'6" high roof, with a pitch of 5/12 exposing employees to fall hazards.  Almazanes Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1726530, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/26/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 16302-16332 Hamlin Hills Bldg. 8, Winter Garden, FL 34787.

Almazanes Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1726530, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/26/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 16302-16332 Hamlin Hills Bldg. 8, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
