29 CFR  1910.176(b): Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.  (a) On or about May 29, 2024, an employee was lifting a pallet off the top rack of the EWS4B racking system slot with a stand up forklift. Another pallet on the opposite side of the racking system at storage slot EWS5B, which was directly behind racking slot EWS4B, was partially stacked on top of the pallet in the EWS4B. When the employee lifted the pallet from EWS4B top rack it caused the pallet from EWS5B to fall off the top rack to the floor below, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.
