29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net systems, and/or personal fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems:  a) Warehouse 2 - On or about July 1, 2024, the employer did not provide an effective means to protect employees from falling approximately 10 feet to the ground when storing large furniture on the second level mezzanine. The swing gate was damaged.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
