29 CFR  1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:   On or about September 11, 2024, the employer failed to provide and require the use of protective equipment for employees who work with and around chemicals to include, but are not limited to, Hydrochloric Acid and Brocco 811 (caustic). The employer failed to ensure chemical-resistant aprons were worn by temporary employees while at the dip tanks resulting in a first degree chemical burn to the body.
