29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2)(ii): Where scaffolds must be used in areas that the employer can demonstrate are so narrow that platforms and walkways cannot be at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide, such platforms and walkways were not as wide as feasible: a) At 980 West Beach Boulevard, Gulf Shores, Alabama: On October 22, 2024; the employer allowed his employee to perform framing activities from a job made scaffold with a work platform that measured only 10 inches wide exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 35 feet to the ground below.
