On or about October 22, 2024, in the Encapsulation area: Employees were exposed to inhalation hazards while performing assembling of electronic pieces, in that, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program while employees wore 3M Half facepiece respirators .

29 CFR  1910.134(e)(1):The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace:  a. On or about October 22, 2024, in the Encapsulation area: employees engaged in assembling of electronic pieces activities were exposed to health hazards in that the employer had not determined, through a medical evaluation, the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee is fit tested or required to use a respirator.

29 CFR  1910.157(c)(1):  The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury.  a. On or about October 22, 2024, in the Encapsulation: the employer exposed employees to fire hazards, in that access to the ABC extinguisher was blocked by a materials cart.
