1926.21(b)(2)  The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.   Location: 38 Neponset Ave., Foxborough  On or about November 7, 2024, employees were exposed to asbestos hazards where the employer permitted half-face respirators be worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of their respirator facepiece and the face while entering regulated asbestos areas.

29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person.   Location: Worksite  On or about November 7, 2024, employees were exposed to asbestos hazards while performing asbestos abatement activities, where the employer did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite to ensure that employees were clean-shaven prior to donning respirators and entering regulated asbestos areas.
