29 CFR  1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  At a commercial worksite located at 7101 N Oak Tfwy, Gladstone MO -- employee engaged in roofing/framing duties while assisting those working above was not wearing head protection. This exposed the employee on the ground to head injuries causing injury. This was documented on or about 11/6/2024.

29 CFR  1926.59: As referenced by 1910.1200(e)(1): At the job site, the employer had not developed, implemented, and maintained at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section.  At a commercial worksite located at 7101 N Oak Tfwy, Gladstone MO, and at establishment located at 11146 Orchard Rd, KC MO -- Employees were exposed to serious health hazards. The employer had not developed a Hazard Communications Program for the various types of chemicals in use in the workplace.  GRO Roofing & Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.59, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1665813, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/17/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9525 Parkwood Ave, KC MO.

At a commercial worksite located at 7101 N Oak Tfwy, Gladstone MO -- Employees were exposed to serious eye injury while using a DeWalt portable skill saw, pitch forks, hammers, pneumatic nail guns, and other various small hand tools without eye protection.  GRO Roofing & Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1665813, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/17/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9525 Parkwood Ave, KC MO.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   At a commercial worksite located at 7101 N Oak Tfwy, Gladstone MO -- Employees engaged in framing and roofing duties were either not using any personal fall protection and/or using a safety harness and lanyard correctly by being connected in the back. This exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of 10' ground level to eave/roof's edge. This was documented on or about 11/6/2024.
