29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a- 4 South Hill Drive, Trenton NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 19 feet 1 inch to ground surface, when accessing to and egressing from a residential structure's pitched roof while using a portable, unsecured, aluminum extension ladder whose side rails extended approximately 12 inches above the surface being accessed to and egressed from. Condition noted on or about 11/20/24.
