29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a). On or about November 20, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals that could cause skin irritation, eye irritation, or blindness. The employer failed to ensure the adequate eyewash station was provided for corrosive chemicals such as, but not limited to, the 710Spirits Denatured Alcohol (Extraction Grade Alcohol) utilized during extraction processes. 710 Spirits Alcohol is Category 2 corrosive for Skin and Eye Irritation.

29 CFR  1910.134(h)(2)(i):Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or  were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve:  a). On or about November 20, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure  that tight-fitting respirators utilized by employees were properly stored to protect them from contamination, dust, or damaging chemicals.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  a). On or about November 20, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards. The employer failed to ensure they provided training to their employees on chemical hazards such as High Purity Extraction Grade Completely Denatured Alcohol Formula 12A (710Spirits), exposing employees to eye corrosion and inhalation hazards.
