29 CFR 1926.21 (b )(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  a) Jobsite- 400 Haddon Heights, NJ 08035: The employer did not fully document the training of employees related to the employer' policy which required the use of spotters when a truck is backing up unless the driver has full and unobstructed view of the path of travel of the truck. Occurred on or about November 27, 2024,   b) The employer did not fully document the training of employees related to the employer's policy requiring the employees to wear high visibility vests/clothing to increase visibility in work zones where moving vehicles are operated. Occurred on or about November 27, 2024.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices, including signs, signals, markings, barricades, and other devices, used for protection of construction workers, did not conform to Part 6 of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices ("MUTCD"), incorporated by reference in 29 CFR 1926.6:  a) Jobsite - 400 Second Street, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035: Employees were walking and working in a construction work zone where moving vehicles were being operated without wearing high-visibility vests/clothing to increase their visibility by drivers, on or about 11/27/2024.  Reference: 1926.6(n)(1) - Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, 2009 Edition, December 2009 (including Revision 1 dated May 2012 and Revision 2 dated May 2012), ("MUTCD") IBR approved for ��1926.200(g) and 1926.201(a).
