29 CFR 1910.107(e)(9): Flammable or combustible liquids for use in spraying operations were transferred from one container to another without both containers being effectively bonded and grounded to prevent discharge sparks of static electricity: On or about December 12, 2024, employee(s) engaged in the transferring of flammable or combustible liquids from one container to another were exposed to burn hazards in the facility located at 1605 West I St. - Hastings, Nebraska 68901, where the employer failed to ensure that the containers of flammable liquids were grounded and bonded during the transfer. An employer transferred flammable liquids including, but not limited to xylene (xylol) and enamel paints used in the spray painting operation, without grounding and/or bonding the containers to prevent static discharge.
