29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Jobsite, shop area, 220 Huff Ave # 700, Greensburg, PA 15601:  Observed on or about December 23, 2024, the unused run of the blade on a Cosen brand horizontal saw (model number AH320H, H1012390) was not properly guarded.  Employees using the saw to cut aluminum parts were exposed to cut-by hazards.

29 CFR  1910.242(b):  Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  a) Jobsite, shop area, 220 Huff Ave # 700, Greensburg, PA 15601:  Observed on or about December 23, 2024, the nozzle on at least two compressed air blow guns located in the mill areas were not capable of reducing the air pressure to less than 30 pounds per square inch (p.s.i.).  The air pressure supplied to each air blow gun was set to approximately 110 p.s.i. at the time of the OSHA inspection.  Employees using the air blow guns were exposed to the hazard of embolism.
