29 CFR  1960.30(a):The agency shall ensure the prompt abatement of unsafe and unhealthful conditions. Where a Notice of an Unsafe or Unhealthful Working Condition has been issued, abatement shall be within the time set forth in the notice, or in accordance with the established abatement plan.  AAFES WHSE/DPW Real Property Building 8-6103:  Employer did not ensure prompt corrective action where the building structural integrity has partially collapsed because the load bearing structural elements have been compromised and major water intrusion have caused severe wood decay and electrical deterioration. Employees were exposed to crushing hazards and fire hazards.
