29 CFR  1910.138(a): General requirements. Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.   The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from severe cuts or lacerations, severe abrasions,  and punctures.  Pressed Cafe was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1670669, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 9/25/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Artisan Drive, Salem, NH 03079 .
