Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Located at Lot 10-7178 Leman Park Place, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about April 25, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees framing were protected from falling by a fall protection system. As a result, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 9 feet while performing residential construction.
