29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun. a) New residential construction located at 3992 Adler Ct., Buford, GA 30519: On or about 6/13/25, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic framing nail gun, in that protective eyewear was not used while operating these tools. The employees were exposed to struck-by hazards which included plastic collated fragments, wood debris, and 3-inch fasteners.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Residential construction located at Lot #46 Adler Cir, Buford, GA 30519, Roof: On or about June 13, 2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 21-feet to the lower ground level, in that a complete fall protection system was not provided while engaged in framing and sheathing activities using the roof as a walking working surface.
