29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the temporary job site located at 5400 W 61st Place Mission, Kansas, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards. Employees were handling working with gasoline and the employer does not have a written hazard communication program in place. The chemical hazards associated with gasoline include but not limited to; skin and eye damage/irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction, drowsiness and/or dizziness, respiratory tract irritation and may cause cancer.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the temporary job site located at 5400 W 61st Place Mission, Kansas, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that they were not provided access to the Safety Data Sheets for gasoline at the job site. The chemical hazards associated with gasoline include but not limited to; skin and eye damage/irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction, drowsiness and/or dizziness, respiratory tract irritation, may cause cancer and may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

At a temporary jobsite located at 5400 W 61st Place Mission, Kansas, on or about July 9, 2025, employees engaged in commercial roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet 2 inches from the eave of the roof to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized. An employee fell off the roof 25 feet 2 inches to the ground beneath him.
