29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun.  a) New residential construction located at 4300 Ridge Road, Buford, GA 30519, Top plate and scaffold: On or about 07/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees operating these tools at 130 PSI.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.   a) New residential construction located at 4300 Ridge Road, Buford, GA 30519,  Makeshift scaffold on top plate: On or about 07/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet, to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  a) New residential construction located at 4300 Ridge Road, Buford, GA 30519: On or about 07/28/2025, the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools, in that a 50 ft orange electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
