29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 29, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in tear off and preparing a roof for shingle installation with a 10/12 pitch at a church located at 20970 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 22-40 feet above the ground were protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Peer Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1553640 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/17/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2300 Fulton Rd, CLEVELAND, OH 44113.
