Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to gasoline and roofing tripolymer sealant. At the jobsite located at 10016 W 86th Terrace, Overland Park, Kansas, employees using a portable extension ladder to access the roof to perform roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the roof to the ground. The side rails of the portable extension ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface of the roof or was secured from falling.
