29 CFR  1915.73(d): When employees were exposed to unguarded edges of decks, platforms, flats, or similar flat surfaces, more than 5 feet above a solid surface, the edges were not guarded by adequate guardrails meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1915.71(j)(1) and (2).  United States Seafoods F/T Seafreeze America, Engine room: On or about February 25, 2026,  employee(s) performing engine maintenance were exposed to a fall of approximately 7.5 feet due to an unguarded edge. This condition exposed employee(s) to fall hazard(s).  or in the alternative   1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following:  United States Seafoods F/T Seafreeze America, Engine room: On or about February 25, 2026, employee(s) performing engine maintenance were exposed to a fall of approximately 7.5 feet due to an unguarded edge.
