29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a-62 Sampson Street, Seaside Heights NJ: On or about 03/18/26 five workers, without fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards when working at an near a residential structure's unprotected floor edges and sides when accepting floor trusses from a worksite All-terrain fork truck, when placing and installing floor trusses onto the structure's wall top plates, etc.    Fortex Contractors Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1851877, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 21, 2026, with respect to a workplace located at 857 Hoes Lane West, Piscataway NJ.  Fortex Contractors Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1837593, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 23, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at Meadowlark Drive - Turnstone Drive, Fogelsville PA.
