29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1)(i): Respirators issued for the exclusive use of an employee shall be cleaned and disinfected as often as necessary to be maintained in a sanitary condition; On or about March 30, 2026 in the general shop area, the employer did not ensure that respirators issued for the exclusive use of individual employees were cleaned and disinfected as often as necessary to maintain them in a sanitary condition. Employees were observed using personally assigned respirators that had not been cleaned or disinfected after use, exposing them to potential contamination hazards in violation of 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1)(i).
